DAY 1: Arrival in Leh & Local Sightseeing

Welcome to Leh! Upon arrival, receive a traditional welcome (Katak shawl) before checking into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the capital: β€’ Visit the 15th-century Tsemo Castle for incredible views of the Leh valley. β€’ Admire the white-domed Shanti Stupa. β€’ See the traditional architecture of the Leh Palace. β€’ Stroll through the vibrant Leh Market for souvenirs.

DAY 2: Sham Valley Exploration & Wonders of Ladakh

Set off on a scenic drive to the Sham Valley to discover Ladakh's unique attractions: β€’ Witness the beautiful Sangamβ€”the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. β€’ Experience the anti-gravity phenomenon at Magnetic Hill. β€’ Pay respects at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. β€’ Explore SECMOL, the innovative campus famous from the movie 3 Idiots. β€’ Optional Activity: Try white water rafting on the Zanskar River.

DAY 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

Check out and drive to Nubra Valley via the iconic Khardung La Pass, one of the world's highest motorable roads. β€’ Stop for views and refreshments at Khardungla CafΓ© and Milkha Point. β€’ Visit the ancient Diskit Monastery. β€’ Explore the Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy a ride on a Bactrian camel. β€’ Arrive at your campsite for an overnight stay in the cold desert.

DAY 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso & Starlit Camping

Check out and drive to the world-famous Pangong Lake along the picturesque Shyok River route. β€’ Stop for a break at the scenic BRO CafΓ©. β€’ Upon arrival, witness the lake's magical color shiftsβ€”from deep blue to green and golden hues. β€’ Settle into your campsite right by the lake for a tranquil night under the stars.

DAY 5: Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La Pass

Set off on the return journey to Leh via the dramatic Chang La Pass, another of the world's highest motorable routes. β€’ Stop at the Chang La Baba Temple. β€’ Optional Activity: Go paragliding over the scenic Sakti Village for panoramic Himalayan views. β€’ Visit the famous Druk Padma Karpo School (3 Idiots school). β€’ Marvel at the Tibetan architecture of Thiksey Monastery. β€’ Check into your hotel in Leh for a final overnight stay.

DAY 6: Departure Day

    *Mobile Network: Only Postpaid network (JIO, Airtel, BSNL) is active in the region.
    *Breakfast availability in hotel on last day totally depends on your departure timings.
    *It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 liters as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
    *Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. *The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc.
    *The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travelers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
    *Wanderlust India Travels reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
    *Ladakh has one of the most difficult terrains in the country and the weather is harsh and unpredictable, the hotels and their facilities in Ladakh can not be compared with equivalent hotels in other parts of the country. They are more basic in nature but Ladakhi people carry the local warmth, which compensates for the star categories.
    *Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
    *Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
    *Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.
    *Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances), [Wanderlust India Travels] reserves the right to reschedule Tours & treks or offer alternative itineraries to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
    *Cancellation After Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule their tours or treks but later decide to cancel will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
