Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh and Transfer to Shimla | A Township Nestled in the Picturesque Shivaliks.

Upon reaching Chandigarh, you will meet your driver who will transfer you to Shimla. Here, you will meet your road captain for a brief session before setting off on a scenic road trip. The journey is set amidst verdant slopes and passes quaint villages, offering glimpses of serene rural life. The road gracefully winds through pine forests, welcoming you with crisp mountain air and the occasional stream. Reach Shimla and check-in to your pre-booked hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Shimla to Sarahan | Witness the Unexplored Valley Curtained with Forests of Oaks and Cedar.

Check out from your hotel and meet the driver who will take you to Sarahan. Leaving Shimla's urban charm behind, you'll travel along ascending roads that reveal the enchanting Shivalik foothills. As you venture further, the landscape gradually transforms into a lush expanse of thick forests and tiered terraced fields. Reach Sarahan and check-in to your hotel. In the evening, you have the option to visit the holy Bhimkali Temple.

Day 3: Sarahan to Sangla | A Scenic Beauty that Rests in the Greater Himalayas near Indo-Tibetan Border.

Check out from your hotel in Sarahan and head towards Sangla, a beautiful town situated in the Baspa Valley. You will journey through winding mountain roads that unveil increasingly stunning vistas. Your drive will traverse lush river valleys, pass charming traditional villages, and follow the meandering Baspa River, allowing you to experience nature's beauty at its absolute best. Reach Sangla and check-in to your pre-booked hotel for a restful overnight

Day 4: Excursion to Chitkul | The Last Inhabited Village at the Indo-Tibetan Border.

Wake up early in the mountains and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Afterward, prepare your bags for a scenic excursion to Chitkul, proudly known as the last village in India before the Indo-Tibetan border. After exploring the unique high-altitude beauty of Chitkul and interacting with the local culture, you will return to Sangla for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Sangla to Kalpa | Spot the Sacred Shivling Rock Atop the Kailash Mountain.

After enjoying a healthy breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Kalpa, a small and charming town dramatically perched on the banks of the Sutlej River. You will head back towards Karcham up to Powari, from where a left turn will lead you to ReoKong Peo, the primary administrative town in the Kinnaur District. Continue your drive to reach Kalpa, which offers mesmerizing views overlooking the Kinnaur Kailash Peak, and check in to your pre-booked camp or homestay for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 6: Kalpa to Narkanda | The Apple Capital of India.

Check out from your hotel in Kalpa and meet the driver who will take you towards Narkanda. The drive will wind through striking landscapes, moving from Kalpa's quaint, high-altitude charm to Narkanda's serene, forested allure, revealing nature's evolving beauty at every turn. You will take a right from Powari and, upon reaching Narkanda, check-in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Narkanda to Chandigarh | Bid Farewell to the Mountains.

Pack your bags and complete the check-out formalities from your hotel in Narkanda. Your driver will pick you up and transfer you directly to Chandigarh. Upon reaching Chandigarh, you will prepare for your onward journey, taking with you a bagful of rich and unforgettable memories from the Kinnaur Valley.

    • The above-mentioned display price is applicable for 4 PAX for standard hotels.
    • For safety purposes, this tour is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
    • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
    • Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
    • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
    • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
    • The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
    • Wanderlust India Travels reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
    • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, roadblocks, etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost. No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.
    • Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
    • Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
    • All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
    • GST is applicable to the package cost.
    • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
    • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
    • Usage of the swimming pool at any accommodation is strictly according to government guidelines.
    • The exact location will be shared with you post-booking.
    • Carry dry snacks/food, granola bars, etc. from home. Carry a regular and another insulated water bottle with you, so that you can refill.
    • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
    • Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions are comparatively less and there are long queues at times.
    • All the travellers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.
    • Transportation during the trip would be in Non AC & Non-Heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.
    • If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor Wanderlust India Travels will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
    • Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
    • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
    • Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
    • Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.
    • Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances), [ Wanderlust India Travels ] reserves the right to reschedule Tours & treks or offer alternative itineraries to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
    • Cancellation After Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule their tours or treks but later decide to cancel will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
