Trip Highlights

Day 1: Arrival in Leh | Welcome to the Top of the World.

Upon landing at Leh airport, a representative will provide a smooth transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in and dedicate the entire day to relaxation and acclimatization. Given Ladakhโ€™s high elevation, it is crucial to rest to prevent altitude sickness. Enjoy a wholesome dinner at the hotel before settling in for your overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley | Exploring Leh's Cultural Borders.

Wake up to a crisp mountain morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Prepare for an exciting drive towards the scenic Sham Valley, situated along the Srinagar-Leh highway. The sightseeing begins by paying tribute at the Hall of Fame, honoring the brave martyrs of the Indo-Pak War. Next, visit the Spituk Gompa, which features a museum of ancient masks, weapons, and Thangkas. Experience the warm hospitality and langar at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Continue to the intriguing Magnetic Hill, a stretch of road famous for defying gravity, and finally, reach the Indus Sangam Viewpoint to witness the beautiful confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers. You'll also visit the SECMOL (the famous 3 Idiots school). After a day of exploration, return to Leh for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass | Conquering the World's Highest Motorable Road (18,000 ft.).

Following a hearty breakfast, embark on the ultimate driving adventure. This journey takes you across the formidable Khardung-La Pass. Stop at the high-altitude cafe on the pass to soak in the views from what feels like the top of the world. As you descend, the landscape dramatically shifts from a barren cold desert into the white sands of the Nubra Valley. If time allows, explore the Diskit Monastery, Ladakh's oldest and largest, which houses a massive Buddha statue. Experience the unique double-humped Bactrian Camel Rideโ€”a remnant of the ancient Silk Route. End the day with camping and a bonfire under a sky full of stars in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake | Recreating Famous Bollywood Scenes.

Enjoy breakfast in the stunning Nubra Valley before heading out for the much-anticipated visit to Pangong Lake, situated right on the Indo-China border. This is one of the world's highest saltwater lakes, famous for its changing hues from brilliant blue to green to red. Spend the afternoon exploring the lake's mesmerizing surroundings, bordered by the Shyok River and towering mountains. Feel free to recreate scenes from iconic Bollywood films like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a comfortable campsite near Pangong Lake.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri | The Hidden Gem in the Cold Desert.

Wake up to the spectacular sight of Pangong Lake before enjoying breakfast. The scenic drive from Pangong to Tso Moriri is a visual treat, running along the Pangong shoreline and then climbing towards the challenging Tsaga La Pass, continuing through Loma - Nyoma, and finally meeting at Mahe Bridge. Witness the tranquil, changing colours of Tso Moririโ€”a true hidden gemโ€”and re-discover your love for nature's pristine beauty. The day ends with a delicious dinner around a bonfire under the open night sky at your campsite near Tso Moriri Lake.

Day 6: Tso Moriri to Leh | The Warmth of Chumathang Hot Springs.

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Leh. En route, the picturesque landscapes offer truly romantic and breathtaking vibes. Stop at the Chumathang Hot Water Spring for a unique experience: a natural warm bath next to the freezing cold Indus River. Take a final stop at traditional attractions before reaching Leh. In the evening, you can explore the Leh market to shop for souvenirs and sample local Ladakhi cuisine. Overnight stay in a hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Departure | Time to Bid Farewell to the Mountains.

Enjoy your final breakfast and complete all check-out formalities. You will then be transferred to the Leh airport for your flight. Say goodbye to your fellow travelers and the majestic, magical land of Ladakh as you embark on your onward journey.
